UNDERSTAND THE CONSEQUENCES OF SIN

For the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23a). Our God--the only God--is a Holy and Just God. He cannot tolerate, cannot allow, cannot permit sin to go unpunished. God must punish sin. Each and every time we knowingly do something we shouldn't (sins of commission) or knowingly fail to do something we should (sins of omission), the punishment of death must be served. This is why we have a physical death, but also why there is an eternal death: Hell--separation from God. The results of our sinful lifestyles should send us all to Hell. You need to understand that we deserve death for our sins.
