Mission Montana Mission Trip
Our Mission Team to Crow Agency, Montana returned home on July 27, 2008. They left on Sunday, July 20th. "Chillax" was the word they used as a fun way to tell each other to calm down or relax in case of conflicts. Thankfully, they didn't have to use it too much.
In Montana the mission team served the Crow Native Americans and worked with a local church there: Spirit Of Life Foursquare Church. The team worked on a Kid's Club (Vacation Bible School), with the theme "God's Big Backyard", re-shingled a house, worked on painting jobs, a plumbing job, built a deck roof, got to meet with the Crow Community, grew closer to God and each other, and built relationships with people from other churches. The other two teams who were there were from Missouri and North Carolina. Please keep all of those involved in prayer and plan on hearing and seeing their sharing of the mission experience on Sunday, August 3rd, during the morning worship service.
